Affiliate terms

Joining

Anyone can apply on the Affiliates page. We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. Approval gives you a personal link (editwithstitch.com/r/your-name). These terms apply once you accept them from your dashboard.

What you earn

You earn 30% of what each customer you refer pays us, not counting sales tax or VAT, for 12 months from their first payment. Your approval may name a different rate or period; if it does, that one applies. Changes apply only to payments made after the change.

Only payments made after your approval earn. Free trials and $0 invoices earn nothing. Your own subscription never earns you a commission.

When you get paid

A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it came from. We pay by PayPal once a month when your payable balance is at least $25.00, you have accepted these terms, you have given us your PayPal email, and we have your tax form (a W-9 or W-8BEN, sent by email).

If a customer is refunded or disputes a payment, the commission on it is reversed. A reversal of a commission we already paid comes off your next payout.

Rules

Say that your link is an affiliate link. In the US the FTC requires a clear disclosure, such as #ad or “affiliate link”, next to it.

Don’t bid on “Stitch” or similar terms in search ads, and don’t refer yourself, your own accounts or your own cards. Commissions that look like self-referrals are held for review and may be voided.

Ending

You can stop at any time. We may end your participation at any time, and will if you break these rules. Commissions you earned before the end are still paid under these terms, unless they came from breaking them.
