CapCut Pro price by plan, checked 2026-10-22
These are the list prices shown on capcut.com/pricing today:
| Plan | Price on capcut.com/pricing | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|
| Free | USD 0 | Free editor |
| Pro | USD 19.99/month | 1,200 monthly AI credits (more can be bought), all premium templates and Pro features, 1 TB of storage |
| Ultra | USD 79/month | 8,645 monthly AI credits |
| Teams | USD 12.49/month per seat | 1,200 credits per seat |
The page also shows toggles labelled "Monthly up to 40% off" and "Yearly up to 30% off". CapCut says displayed prices are "for reference only". Your final price, taxes and offers show up after you sign in.
One conflict to know about: FluxNote saw 1,400 monthly credits on 12 Oct 2026 from a European connection. Credit allowances may differ by region or account.
Monthly or yearly
- 12 monthly payments: 12 × $19.99 = $239.88.
- One yearly payment: $179.99.
- Saving: $59.89, about 25%.
- Nine monthly payments cost $179.91, about the same as the year. Yearly only pays off if you keep Pro 10 months or more (Pixflow and FluxNote make the same point).
Worked example: Pro, a $30 product and your trimming hours
Use your own numbers. The 15% commission below is an example for the maths. Check your own rate on the products you promote and replace it.
Step 1: commission per sale. $30 × 15% = $4.50.
Step 2: sales needed to cover the subscription. Divide the price by your commission per sale.
| Plan | Cost per month | Sales needed at $4.50 | Whole sales |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro, monthly | $19.99 | 4.4 | 5 |
| Pro, yearly | $179.99 ÷ 12 = about $15 | 3.3 | 4 |
| Standard, about $9.99 | $9.99 | 2.2 | 3 |
Yearly Pro is billed up front, so the first payment is $179.99. That is 40 sales at $4.50 before you have covered the year. Standard's price comes from the US App Store (more on that below).
This shows the break-even for the subscription itself.
Step 3: your trimming time. Take an example schedule: 3 talking-head takes a day × 10 minutes of hand-trimming each × 30 days = 900 minutes, or 15 hours a month. Put in your own takes per day and minutes per take.
If you spend 15 hours a month cutting takes, upload one raw take and the first clip is cut for you free, no card.
Step 4: ask what Pro covers. The items CapCut lists for Pro are 4K/60fps export, 1,200 AI credits, 1 TB of storage and premium templates. Those cover export quality, AI generation, storage and templates. The time sink in an affiliate's month is a different job: cutting pauses, filler words, retakes and spoken slates out of a raw take. Check whether your 15 hours go to that job before you pay for features aimed at another one.
Why other sites quote $9.99
Before the 2026 restructure, Pro was $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year (Pixflow). CapCut's help center (Apr 8, 2026) says the new Pro raised AI credits from 550 to 1,200 and storage from 100 GB to 1 TB, and added a cheaper Standard plan. StoryCut, citing Newsweek (Feb 17, 2026), reports yearly Pro went from around $77 to $179.99 with no formal announcement.
An old article quoting $9.99 for Pro is likely out of date. The $9.99 figure that is current belongs to Standard on the US App Store.
Standard plan
- About $9.99 a month on the US App Store (StoryCut, checked Oct 8, 2026; FluxNote).
- FluxNote and StoryCut say it is not published on capcut.com. CostBench notes it is no longer listed on CapCut's pricing page.
- FluxNote and Pixflow describe it as mobile-focused, with 100 GB of storage and basic AI tools.
- CapCut does not publish a yearly Standard price.
Price by region and by where you buy
CapCut's help page says Pro pricing varies by region, device and promotions, with no fixed global price. These are App Store prices for Pro from StoryCut, checked Oct 8, 2026. Standard is roughly half.
| Country | Pro on the App Store |
|---|---|
| UK | £21.99 |
| Spain | 23,99 € |
| Brazil | R$ 65,90 |
| Mexico | MX$ 330 |
| Argentina | US$ 13.99 |
Where you buy matters too. Pixflow and CostBench say app-store purchases usually cost $1 to $3 a month more than buying on capcut.com, because of Apple and Google commissions. FluxNote reports that CapCut's help center says desktop pricing is often higher than mobile. The sources disagree on direction, so compare the checkout screens yourself.
The US App Store also lists unnamed "Monthly Subscription" at $7.99 and "Yearly Subscription" at $89.99 items that do not say which plan they belong to (StoryCut, FluxNote). Do not buy one of these without seeing the plan name at checkout.
Do you need to pay at all? Check the free plan first
The free editor has the full timeline and exports up to 1080p. A watermark appears when a project uses Pro-tagged templates, effects, fonts, music or AI tools (Pixflow, StoryCut). 4K/60fps export needs Pro.
Steps to take on your phone today
- Open CapCut, tap Me, then Join CapCut Pro. Write down the price your account shows, with tax.
- Open your last exported project and count the Pro badges on templates, effects, fonts and music.
- Swap each badge for a free asset and export again. If the watermark is gone, you did not need Pro for that video.
- Ask whether you need 4K or the AI credits. If every video goes out at 1080p, the answer may be no.
- If you go Pro, pick yearly only if you will keep it 10 months or more.
- If you take the 7-day free trial for eligible new accounts, set a phone reminder one day before it ends. Plans auto-renew, so cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
Other places to find your price: Upgrade on the web, or the subscription button in the desktop app.
Cancelling
- iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, CapCut, Cancel.
- Android: Google Play, Subscriptions, CapCut, Cancel.
CapCut's Standard vs Pro article says a cancellation takes effect from the next billing period. StoryCut and FluxNote say CapCut's help center generally treats subscriptions as non-refundable virtual goods.
If trimming is the job you want gone
CapCut Pro adds export quality, AI credits and storage. Cutting pauses and retakes out of a raw take is a separate task. This site's editor cuts pauses, filler words such as "um", retakes, and spoken "Clip N" slates. You upload one raw take from your phone's camera roll or your computer, and you get back a cut clip.
It does not add captions, music, b-roll, effects or transitions, so use it for the cutting and add those elsewhere if you want them. A take can be up to 5 minutes and 2 GB. The clip comes back as 1080×1920 vertical with sound in sync. Download your clips, because uploads are deleted after 7 days and finished clips after 30 days. After the first clip, plans are listed at /pricing.
