The tiktok creator marketplace still exists, but it now lives inside TikTok One. In the app, open Profile > TikTok Studio > Creator Marketplace to reach it. Billo (updated Oct 6, 2026) says no new campaigns were posted on the old standalone platform after 10 March 2025.
Most guides on this are written for brands. This one is for the person who films the videos. Upload a raw take, get the first clip cut free, no card.
What the marketplace is now
Think of it as a queue of brand projects with deadlines. Brands send invitations or post open applications. You take the ones you can film, trim and submit in time.
It is separate from TikTok Shop affiliate. Affiliate pays commission through product links. The marketplace pays for sponsored projects a brand sets up. You can do both. Insense (Sept 21, 2026) notes the marketplace leans toward affiliate and commission deals tied to TikTok Shop.
Joining does not change how TikTok ranks your videos, according to Insense. Treat it as a way to receive project offers, nothing more.
Do you qualify? The sources disagree
Check the sources side by side before you trust any single number.
| Source | What it says |
|---|---|
| TikTok Business Help Center, "How creators can sign up for TikTok One" (July 2026) | TikTok One has launched in your country or region, you are at least 18, and you meet the Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy. |
| Same page and "find and join projects" page (July 2026) | At least 1,000 followers to join projects, plus brand-defined requirements that vary by project. |
| support.tiktok.com TikTok One page (checked Oct 22, 2026) | 10,000 followers, at least 1,000 post views in the last 30 days and 3 posts in the last 30 days. Age and follower rules may differ by region. |
Many third-party guides still repeat an older rule of 10K followers and 100K likes in 28 days. Skip those.
The fastest answer is the "Check eligibility" screen on your own account. It is the only number that applies to you.
How to join the tiktok creator marketplace on your phone
These steps come from support.tiktok.com (checked Oct 22, 2026):
- Open your Profile and tap Menu ☰.
- Tap TikTok Studio.
- Open the Monetization tab.
- Find Creator Marketplace. Scroll, or tap View all.
- Tap Check eligibility.
- If you qualify, tap Join.
Other ways in, per ads.tiktok.com: search "TikTok One" in the app, use TikTok's sign-up link or QR code, or join through an agency invite link.
Once registered, fill in your profile: starting rates, contact info, languages and industries. Brands see this when they pick creators.
Three ways a project reaches you
Per TikTok's "find and join projects" page (July 2026):
- Direct invitation. It arrives in Inbox > Monetization. Tap I'm interested, then Accept or Negotiate.
- Open application. Find it under Inbox > System notifications > Explore > Apply. It may ask eligibility questions, may be auto-accepted, and may offer a waitlist.
- Invite link. It asks you to approve an existing video already on your page. These projects only support offline payment and pricing.
Two limits shape your week:
- Invitations expire if you don't accept or reject within 7 days.
- You can only submit a limited number of applications each week. The limit rises as you complete projects with well-performing videos.
The 7 days is the time to answer. The delivery deadline is set by the brand in the project details. Read both before you tap Accept.
Worked example: what the queue does to your editing week
Start with the recent-activity bar. TikTok's support page lists 3 posts in the last 30 days and 1,000 post views in the last 30 days. If you post affiliate videos, you already clear the post count many times over. Deadlines set your limit.
Here is a hypothetical week. Every number below is an input you can swap for your own. None is a TikTok rate.
- Affiliate schedule: 2 videos a day on a $30 product. That is 14 videos a week and about 60 in 30 days.
- Commission: assume 10%. That is $3 a sale, so 10 sales is $30. Your rate will differ.
- Marketplace: 2 projects, each with a 7-day window, each needing 1 finished video that week.
- Takes per finished video: assume 3. Pauses, flubs and retakes add up.
- Hand-trim time per take: your number. Time yourself on your next three takes.
The math is 16 videos × 3 takes = 48 takes a week. Multiply by your trim minutes per take:
| Hand-trim minutes per take | Weekly editing time |
|---|---|
| 4 | 192 minutes (3.2 hours) |
| 6 | 288 minutes (4.8 hours) |
| 10 | 480 minutes (8 hours) |
At 6 minutes a take, the two projects alone add 36 minutes. A project you can't edit in time is a project you decline or miss. That backlog is the real cap on how many you can accept.

How you get paid
TikTok's "About TikTok One creator payment models" page (April 2026) lists three:
- Base pay only. A flat fee per deliverable. It may or may not be negotiable.
- Revenue share only. Based on the video's performance and the advertiser's ad spend. In-feed ads only.
- Base pay plus revenue share. Non-negotiable.
The base offer shows in local currency and is subject to exchange rates and taxes. Payment is sent after you submit the video and the brand confirms it.
"About payments on TikTok One" (March 2026) says TikTok charges no service fees to advertisers or creators for using its payment service. Fees from individual payment providers may apply. Cross-border payments only work in select regions.
One recent announcement: Tubefilter (Sept 29, 2026) reports that TikTok announced One Pay at its Creators Summit. TikTok says payment lands in under 30 days after a video posts and takes no cut. The same report mentions an invite-only tier called TikTok OnePlus. It is an announcement, so don't plan your cash flow around it.
TikTok doesn't set your rate. You list starting rates and negotiate per project, according to Insense and Billo. For scale, Insense's tier table puts nano creators (1K–10K followers) at $10–$100 per post. That is a third-party estimate, not a promise of what you will be offered.
Safety checklist for invites
TikTok's help page gives four checks. Run them before you reply to any invite:
- Confirm the sender is a known brand contact.
- Check that the link domain starts with tiktok.com.
- Make sure the message includes the project name, requirements and deadline.
- Never enter bank passwords, full card details or one-time passwords on an invite page.
If a message skips the deadline, ask for it before you accept. Your 7-day clock is already running.
