Free Online Teleprompter

Paste or type your script, then press play.

Space plays and pauses, R restarts. Tap the script to pause it.

How to use it

  1. Paste or type your script, or start from one of the templates.
  2. Set the speed and text size, then press play to check the pace. Space pauses, R restarts.
  3. Turn on your camera and press Record. After a 3-second countdown the script scrolls from the top while you read it.
  4. Press Stop. The take appears below with its length, ready to play or download.
  5. Record as many takes as you like, then send the ones you want to Stitch to cut the pauses and filler.

A teleprompter built for vertical video

Most online teleprompters were made for a laptop and a landscape webcam. This one records the way short-form video is posted: tall, 9:16, with the script sitting at the top of the frame, right under the lens. Your eyes stay close to the camera, so you look at your viewer instead of at a line of text halfway down the screen.

Paste your script, pick a speed, and record. When you trip over a line, stop and go again; every take is kept with its length, so you can compare them and keep the best. Nothing is uploaded, and you never need an account to record or download.

Templates for UGC and TikTok Shop

Not sure what to say? Start from a template for a UGC product review, a TikTok Shop demo or a talking-head hook, and fill in the brackets with your own product and story. Each one opens with a hook, moves through the proof, and ends with a clear call to action.

From raw take to finished clip

Even with a teleprompter, a raw take has pauses, restarts and the odd “um”. Stitch cuts those out for you. Send your takes straight from this page and each one becomes a clean clip, without uploading the files again.

FAQ

Is this teleprompter really free?
Yes. You can write a script, record takes and download them without an account, and there is no watermark.
Is the script in my video?
No. The script scrolls on your screen over the camera preview, but only the camera picture is recorded.
What size are the videos?
Every take is vertical 9:16, up to 1080 by 1920, which is the size TikTok, Reels and Shorts expect. Each take can run up to 5 minutes.
Are my takes uploaded anywhere?
No. Takes are saved in your browser on this device until you delete them. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to send takes to Stitch.
Why is my take a WebM file?
Some browsers, like Chrome on a computer, record in WebM instead of MP4. Most editors open it, and Stitch accepts both.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in Chrome on Android, as well as Chrome on a computer. Allow the camera and microphone when your browser asks.
What does Stitch do with my takes?
Stitch cuts the pauses, filler words and stumbles out of each take, and gives you back a clean clip ready to post.
